What do you actually sell?
Around 90 parts for electric skateboards and mountainboards, all stocked in Italy: motors, VESC-based ESCs, belts, pulleys and motor mounts, wheels, trucks, decks, enclosures and risers, remotes, chargers, BMS, connectors and switches, protective gear — plus our hand-built custom battery packs. How do I know which parts fit my board?
Every product page lists the specs that matter — pulley bore and tooth profile, truck axle and width, motor-mount sizing, connector type, deck length, wheel diameter and durometer. Matching to an existing drivetrain? Write to us with your motor, ESC, battery and deck and we'll confirm the right part before you buy. Starting fresh? The configurator walks you through a combination that works together.
Can you help me pick the right setup?
That's what the lab is for. Tell us your weight, terrain, target range, top speed and budget and we'll spec a drivetrain — motor, ESC, gearing, wheels and battery — that actually works as a system, not just a list of parts. The configurator is the fastest way to start; for anything non-standard just email info@eskating.eu.
Do you build custom batteries and complete boards?
Yes — custom packs are our core work. Pick cell, voltage and capacity in the configurator, or email info@eskating.eufor non-standard voltages, custom enclosures or a special BMS. Bringing your own deck for a full build? Ship it to us or send dimensioned drawings (PDF, DXF, or photos with a ruler) plus your target range and ESC/motor setup, and we'll quote within 1–2 working days. Custom builds start around €450 and integrate with VESC 6, Stormcore, FOCBOX, Trampa VESC 75/300 and Flipsky.
What is the warranty?
Electronics and drivetrain (motors, ESCs, remotes, BMS, chargers) carry 2 years in the EU / 1 year worldwide on manufacturing defects. Custom battery packs: 2 years on cells to 80% State of Health, lifetime on spot welds and busbars, 2 years on the BMS. Not covered: wear parts (belts, wheels, bearings, grip), physical or water damage, over-discharge, and modifications. Orders & Payment
How do I place an order?
Add items to your cart, go to the checkout, fill in billing and shipping addresses (shipping cost appears once you pick the country), and pay with PayPal or a credit/debit card.
Do I need an account to place an order?
No. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account makes future orders faster and lets you see your order history.
How long is the lead time, and how do I track my order?
Stocked parts — motors, ESCs, wheels, trucks, decks, enclosures, belts, connectors — ship in 2–5 working days. Standard battery packs take 7–10 working days; custom packs and builds 14–21 from deposit. Bank-transfer orders enter the queue once payment lands (1–2 working days). We confirm the exact dispatch date by email and send a tracking link as soon as the parcel leaves the workshop — follow it live at track.
How can I cancel or change my order?
Contact us as soon as possible — once the order is dispatched it cannot be changed. Email info@eskating.eu.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal and all major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro) through PayPal's secure checkout — card details are entered directly into PayPal and never touch our servers. Bank transfer is available for larger orders and custom builds; the build queue starts once payment clears.
Are prices VAT inclusive?
EU consumer prices include VAT where applicable. Customers outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes collected on delivery — see our Shipping Policy.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
Non-battery parts — motors, ESCs, wheels, trucks, decks, enclosures, pulleys, belts, remotes, connectors — ship worldwide. Lithium batteries and cells (UN3480 / UN3481) ship to EU customers only, no exceptions, including via the marketplace. How long does delivery take?
Transit depends on the carrier and destination: EU delivery is typically 3–7 working days after dispatch, UK 5–7 plus possible customs. The lead time before dispatch is shown above and on each product page.
Should I buy shipping insurance?
For high-value orders (custom batteries, complete kits) we strongly recommend it. Without insurance we are not responsible for lost or damaged parcels in transit — the carrier is.
Can I fly with a battery?
Under 100 Wh: carry-on, no approval needed. 100–160 Wh: written airline approval required, carry-on only, max two spares. Over 160 Wh (most full-size eskate packs): ground freight only — not allowed on passenger flights. Every pack ships with a Wh label and UN3480 documentation so you have the paperwork on hand.
Returns
Can I return a product I changed my mind about?
Yes — EU consumers have 14 days from delivery to withdraw. Items must be unused, uninstalled and in original packaging; refunds go to the original payment method within 5 business days of us receiving the item. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Full procedure on the Returns & Refunds page.
Can I return a custom battery or custom build?
No — custom-built items are made to order and excluded from the right of withdrawal under art. 59 D.Lgs. 206/2005. Manufacturing defects are still fully covered by warranty.
Something arrived damaged or faulty — what now?
Inspect the parcel on delivery; if it's visibly damaged, sign “with reservation” or refuse it. Email info@eskating.euwithin 48 hours with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. For a part that fails in use, send the order number and a short description and we'll sort a repair, replacement or refund.
Marketplace
How does the 2nd-hand marketplace work?
EU/EEA buyers and sellers only, PayPal-only for buyer protection. Every listing is reviewed by our team before going live. Funds release to the seller after the buyer confirms delivery, with a 7-day dispute window. Batteries and cells are strictly not allowed — no exceptions, even between EU members.
Privacy & Account
What data do you store about me?
The minimum needed to process your order (name, email, shipping/billing address, phone, VAT if you provide one) and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. We do not run advertising trackers. See the full Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Email info@eskating.eu from the address linked to your account and we will action the request within 30 days, in compliance with GDPR. Tax-relevant order records are retained for the period required by Italian law.
